A big hello from my Thermomix-enhanced country kitchen. My kitchen and garden are my happy place. Being able to eat fresh food that I grow and process it all right here for our family is something I am truly passionate about. Living with numerous food and skin allergies has taught me to eat fresh and local for our health's sake.
Many moons ago, while I was going through my Coeliac's Disease diagnosis, we hosted a Thermomix demo in our new home. After a lovely relaxed lunch I knew that this machine was something special that would help us. My amazing husband spoilt me and surprised me that christmas (only a few short weeks later) with my very own TM31 Thermomix, which I used for 11 years, to create every magical dish we have cooked here at home. Most of the recipes on this blog were created with this very machine.
Recently I have upgraded to the even more amazing TM6 Thermomix, which has over 20 different functions from whipping, emulsifying, chopping, slicing, cake mixing, steaming and cooking to slow cooker. It's everything you need to prep and cook consistently good food in 20-30 minutes. For us, a whole day of weekly meal prep on a Sunday went down to 2 hours. More time in the garden for me.
This year (2023), I've decided to become a Thermomix consultant so that I can help our local families to get a Thermomix on their kitchen bench. I'm enjoying learning how to get the absolute most out of this machine while I do that from all the other expert consultants at Thermomix. The wifi connected kitchen features 80,000 recipes on Cookidoo, meal planning and even links to online shopping at Woolworths. Incredible to have such amazing tech in my country kitchen.
